Ventura County FC Announce Roster Ahead of 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season

Five LA Galaxy Academy products signed to VCFC roster; Ventura County FC to open 2025 MLS NEXT Pro campaign at Wiliam Roland Stadium against Tacoma Defiance on Friday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. PT on MLS Season Pass

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Wednesday, March 5, 2025) – Ventura County FC today announced the club’s roster ahead of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season. Kicking off the 2025 campaign at home, VCFC plays host to the Tacoma Defiance at William Roland Stadium on Friday, March 7 at William Roland Stadium on Friday, March 7 (7:00 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).

Ventura County FC Head Coach Matt Taylor begins his second season with the club, after leading VCFC to an 8-9-11 record during the 2024 campaign and an appearance in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs. Taylor’s coaching staff includes Assistant Coach Alex Yi, Assistant Coach and Video Analyst Grant Heywood, Goalkeeper Coach Matt Reis and Performance Coach Luke Garcia.

When the MLS NEXT Pro season kicks off March 7, 16 players will be signed to the Ventura County FC roster. Returning players from the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro campaign include defenders Riley Dalgado and Christian Tchouante, midfielder Max Middleby and forward Sean Karani. Twelve new additions have been added to Ventura County’s roster ahead of the 2025 campaign: goalkeeper Owen Pratt (LA Galaxy Academy, U-17 USMYNT), defenders Pepe Magaña(LA Galaxy Academy, U-18 USMYNT) and Chris Rindov (Sporting Kansas City), midfielders Gabriel Arnold (LA Galaxy Academy; U-20 El Salvador), Jason Bucknor (University of Michigan), Vicente Garcia (LA Galaxy Academy; U-15 USMYNT), Nader Jindaoui (Hertha Berlin), Jeorgio Kocevski (Orlando City SC), Ethan Loomis (Orange County SC), Luis Müller (LAFC), Tommy Musto (LAFC) and forward Levon Saribekyan (Signed from VCVFC x MLS NEXT Pro Open Tryout).

Notably five players signed to VCFC are products of the LA Galaxy Academy: goalkeeper Owen Pratt, defenders Riley Dalgado and Pepe Magaña and midfielders Gabriel Arnold and Vicente Garcia.
