VCFC came away with a massive victory in their last game against the then undefeated Houston Dynamo 2. With a boost in confidence, VCFC will look to keep that momentum going against the Rapids.

Dylan Vanney was pulling the strings last Saturday in their victory over Houston. On top of his 2 assists for VCFC’s first 2 goals of the game, Vanney nabbed his 7th goal of the season with a header from close range.

Julian Placias was integral to the team’s success, scoring the first goal of the game and assisting Vanney for the third. Gabriel Arnold scored his first of the season, putting his defender off with a brilliant feint before smashing it home. The VCFC backline came up huge against Houston, notably Jose “Pepe” Magaña Jr. who had several key blocks and tackles.
