Last Sunday, VCFC took home 2 points after defeating Portland Timbers 2 in a penalty shootout 8-7. The match ended 0-0 in regulation time.

VCFC goalkeeper Sebastian Conlon had a night to remember. Conlon recorded 7 saves against the Timbers, scored a penalty in the shootout, and made the winning penalty save to give his side the extra point.
