Match Preview: LAFC 2 vs VCFC | March 14th 2025

VCFC will hit the road in Week 2 for another Friday night kickoff against SoCal rivals, LAFC2, at Titan Stadium. The match kicks off at 7pm PST and will be available to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

An Early Season Test

Ventura County FC will be looking to flip the script against LAFC2 heading into tonight’s match up. The Black and Gold lead the head-to-head with 2 wins and a draw in the 2024 Regular Season, two of which being at Titan Stadium. VCFC have yet to claim three points in Fullerton and will be up for the test after a strong performance in Week 1 against Tacoma Defiance.

Fresh off winning MLS NEXT Rising Star in Matchweek 1, Dylan Vanney will look to continue his fine goalscoring form. Luis Müller and Tommy Musto get their first opportunity to play against their former side.

About the Opponent

After a quick start against Vancouver Whitecaps 2, LAFC2 conceded three consecutive goals in the second half. The game finished in a draw, with Vancouver claiming the additional point after winning in PKs.
