HEADLINE: Ventura County FC Acquire Forward Ifu Achara on Loan.

Thousand Oaks, California (Friday, August 9, 2024) – Ventura County FC today announced that the club has acquired forward Ifu Achara for the remainder of the 2024 MLS Next Pro Season ahead of the MLS Next Pro Regular Season match against LAFC 2 on Sunday, August 11 (7 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).

Achara, 26, has appeared in 13 games for Houston Dynamo 2 this season and earned eight starts. The forward joined Houston Dynamo FC for the 2023 MLS regular season after being selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft in Nov. 2022. Notably, the forward made 15 appearances during the 2022 regular season with MLS side Toronto FC.
