HEADLINE: Ventura County FC Sign Midfielder Hope Avayevu

Thousand Oaks, California (Thursday, August 8, 2024) – Ventura County FC today announced that the club has signed midfielder Hope Avayevu for the remainder of the 2024 MLS Next Pro Season with a club option for 2025 ahead of the MLS Next Pro Regular Season match against LAFC II on Sunday, August 11 (7 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).

Avayevu, 21, had 24 goal contributions (11 goals, 13 assists) in 43 games for North Texas SC during the 2022 and 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Seasons. He is a product of the Faith Soccer Academy of the Ghanaian Football Association.
